Fourteen years ago, Phakamani Impact Capital was founded to challenge a financial system that failed Black entrepreneurs. Traditional banking institutions deemed them ‘unbankable,’ locking out countless talented individuals from economic participation.
We saw not just a gap – but an opportunity to rewrite the narrative. By offering bridging finance, funding solutions, and hands-on mentorship, we proved that when given the right support, South African entrepreneurs don’t just survive – they thrive.
